This racetrack sculpture depicts the layout of Okayama International Circuit (formerly named as TI Circuit Aida), is a 3.7 km private motorsport racetrack located in Mimasaka, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Alongside hosting race events, the circuit also offers go karting and bikes.
The course was opened in 1990 as a private racetrack for affluent community. Soon after its inception, it hosted its first race, staged by veteran British drivers.
In later years it hosted the Formula One Pacific Grand Prix; both events were won by Michael Schumacher in his early title-winning years. This race made Japan one of only seven countries to ever host more than one Formula One event in the same year.
TI Circuit hosted a round of the Formula V6 Asia and FIA World Touring Car Championship 2008. Express fondness for your favorite track by hanging this fascinating layout sculpture in your man cave, living room or literally anywhere indoors. This will surely add a hint of Japanese motorsports heritage to your place.
